Chantal Is An Artist
Chantal René was born in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which has been instrumental in her creative expression and joy in „face painting“.
After completing a 3 year course in hairstyling in Zürich, she relocated to Los Angeles where she worked professionally as a hairstylist, before returning to Zürich. Shortly thereafter, she went to England to study at The Complexion International School in London, where she learnt her craft as a makeup artist, and later honed her skill in stage and special effects makeup in Germany.
Chantal is presently teaching at a makeup academy in Zürich, where she is sharing her knowledge in makeup and hairstyling with young adults. She is also working as a makeup artist/hairstylist for many international fashion photographers, and offers private workshops in makeup.
